Zhuo Wang received her PhD degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 2005. Her research interests include land surface remote sensing, land surface modeling, integration of remote sensing data and land surface models, numerical weather forecasting, climate modeling, and radiative transfer. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Research Scientist with Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center/Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites (ESSIC/CICS-MD), working on-site in the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service Center for Satellite Applications and Research, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, College Park, MD. Her work currently focuses on improving satellite retrieval for land surface temperature and promoting the use of satellite data in the models. She has published some peer review papers and given conference presentations. She also serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.
