Emilie Murphy

Emilie Fedele Murphy received her Master Degree in Physics applied to Sciences, Technology and Environment from University of Toulon-Var in France. She starts her carrier as Research Engineer Assistant at the LSCE (Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environment) in the southwest suburb of Paris working on remote sensing for Climate Change and Vegetation cycle studies. She is currently a Faculty Research Assistant at the Department of Geographical Sciences in the University of Maryland and a Science collaborator in NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. She works with Professor Eric Vermote on the development of the surface reflectance climate data record from MODIS and the satellites AVHRR-NOAA.
